Node Agent
Deploy a New Compute Node
Install the Node Agent on another computer and add it to the cluster.
.\install.ps1 ` -ControllerURL "YOUR_CONTROLLER_URL" ` -EnrollmentToken "YOUR_ENROLLMENT_TOKEN"
Platform buttons download the latest uploaded build for that platform. The enrollment token should be generated securely by the cluster administrator and never committed or published.
Guide
Installation Steps
- 1
Download Node Agent
Choose the build for the machine you are adding: Windows or Linux. Both are listed above.
- 2
Install
Run the installer for your platform.
shellplaceholders only# Windows (PowerShell) .\install.ps1 ` -ControllerURL "YOUR_CONTROLLER_URL" ` -EnrollmentToken "YOUR_ENROLLMENT_TOKEN" # Linux chmod +x node-agent-linux sudo ./node-agent-linux install
- 3
Configure Controller
Point the agent at your control plane and supply the enrollment token generated by the cluster administrator.
envplaceholders onlyCONTROLLER_URL=YOUR_CONTROLLER ENROLLMENT_TOKEN=YOUR_TOKEN
- 4
Start Node Agent
Start the agent as a service or in the foreground for a first run.
shellplaceholders onlynode-agent start
- 5
Verify Registration
ONLINEConfirm the node appears in the cluster and is reporting health.
outputplaceholders onlyNode Status: ONLINE Health: HEALTHY Connection: CONNECTED
- 6
Start Using the Cluster
The controller can now consider the node for workloads according to its capabilities and state.
Controller URLs, tokens and download links on this page are placeholders. Generate enrollment tokens securely and keep them out of source control.
Build Your Own AI Compute Cluster
Connect your machines. Deploy the Node Agent. Start the controller. Build a distributed AI environment around the hardware you already have.
